Deals with issues surrounding human speech and language communication disorders.
Assess the psychosocial functioning of patients and intervenes as necessary. Connects patients and families to necessary resources and support groups or help patient to expand and strengthen their network of social supports.
Provide assistance to a patient with personal care like hygiene and exercise and monitors patients condition. Provides assistance with medications, light meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Help promote good health through proper eating. They supervise the preparation and service of food, develop modified diets and educate individuals on good nutritional habits.
